More Measles cases reported in Tennessee this year than in nearly a decade

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Tennessee has seen more cases of Measles in 2025 than in nearly a decade.

The CDC reports that Tennessee only had four Measles cases in all of last year. State data from Friday morning reports that there have been eight confirmed measles cases in Tennessee this year, meaning the number of cases reported has doubled.
