The Tennessee Comptroller’s Division of Investigations has issued its 500th investigative report since it was established in 2016. These investigations have identified $51 million in fraud, waste, and abuse involving public funds and assets in the state. Nearly 1,600 criminal charges have been filed against individuals as a result.
