Nolensville woman’s genetic testing discovery highlights importance of family health conversations

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Sara Kavanaugh was in her living room with her kids when the call came from her genetic counselor.

“She said, ‘Do you have a minute to sit down and, you know, talk about your test results?’” Kavanaugh said.
