MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — Major road projects are wrapping up in Rutherford County. And while some projects are finishing up, others are finally starting to get underway.

The new road is the fastest intersection the city has ever built in Murfreesboro. The city hopes the intersection will help relieve traffic at the new Poplar Hill Elementary School, which just opened its doors this year. However, work still needs to be done on a new traffic signal along with some road striping.
