RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Rutherford County Property Assessor’s Office has complied with a deadline given to them by the Tennessee Comptroller’s Office to make corrections to their data entry system.
Last week, the state comptroller sent the office a letter stating that the Rutherford County Property Assessor’s Office had to make “necessary corrections” to the data system to avoid engagement with the Office of the Attorney General after Jason Mumpower told county commissioners that the work done by the property assessor was “riddled with errors.”
