The Tennessee Department of Agriculture (TDA) announced the appointment of Maria Ramsey as Assistant Commissioner for Public Affairs.
“We are pleased to welcome Maria Ramsey to the Department of Agriculture’s leadership team,” Agriculture Commissioner Andy Holt said. “Maria brings a unique blend of communication and policy experience, and a deep passion for agricultural education and workforce development.”
As Assistant Commissioner, Ramsey will oversee internal and external communications and lead the department’s efforts to engage with the public, stakeholders, and industry partners.
