MURFREESBORO, TN – Murfreesboro police are asking for help identifying a man and woman wanted for questioning after a theft at Kroger on Old Fort Parkway. Investigators say the incident happened on October 31, 2025, when a woman distracted a shopper while her partner stole the victim’s wallet from her purse. That wallet was later used at Lowe’s, also on Old Fort Parkway, where fraudulent purchases were made.
Authorities released details about the pair and the burgundy or red Dodge Journey SUV they were seen driving away from Lowe’s. Detective Jamison is handling the case, and he asks that anyone who recognizes the suspects or the vehicle is urged to phone 629-201-5581.
