FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after two children were injured in a collision in Franklin Friday night.
The Franklin Police Department posted about the incident on social media platform X shortly after 10:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, asking motorists to use caution near the intersection of Liberty Pike and Mallory Lane while law enforcement spent the next couple hours at the scene of a two-vehicle crash.

According to authorities, two minors who were traveling in one of the vehicles were taken to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt for treatment. No details were released about the nature of their injuries, but as of Saturday, Dec. 6, both children are reportedly in stable condition.
