LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A driver is facing numerous charges after a traffic stop for traveling “well over the speed limit” in La Vergne led to the discovery of various drugs Saturday night, according to officials.
The La Vergne Police Department said an officer spotted the “reckless driver” going 75 mph along Murfreesboro Road shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, so the officer quickly turned around to catch up.
