Wilson County opening emergency warming shelter ahead of dangerous arctic blast

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Wilson County Emergency Management Agency is opening an emergency warming shelter as forecasters predict Middle Tennessee will dip below freezing.

A bitter Arctic blast is expected to arrive Sunday. Anyone in need of shelter from the cold can access the shelter at the Q Barn located toward the back of the Wilson County Fairgrounds at 945 E Baddour Parkway.
