Wilson County opens warming shelters amid anticipated frigid temperatures

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — With temperatures anticipated to plummet over the next few days, many people will opt to stay inside to escape the cold.

But not everyone has that option, which is why Wilson County Emergency Management is opening up their warming shelters for the unhoused population.

Starting Saturday, Dec. 13, people who need a way out of the cold can head to a shelter, where they’ll be provided a cot to sleep on, pillows, blankets, and food.
