NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A new report found that last year, Tennesseans were among those who spent the least on alcohol in 2024.
SmartAsset analyzed data from the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis to find their results on one-year changes in alcohol spending per person. Overall, they found Americans spent about $228 billion on alcohol for private consumption — that works out to about $898 per adult.
