A fire at the Krystal fast food restaurant in Murfreesboro, initially thought to have the potential for significant damage, was swiftly contained thanks to the quick response of local firefighters last Friday. According to a WSMV report, the Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department (MFRD) extinguished a kitchen fryer fire with no reports of injuries or structural damage to the building.
Upon arrival, the MFRD found moderate smoke issuing from the hood system vent, with subsequent action preventing it from escalating into a larger crisis. As recounted in MFRD’s social media post, the fire was quickly extinguished, and the building was ventilated to disperse the smoke.
