DHS: Chinese national who allegedly entered US illegally now accused of causing deadly TN crash

BAXTER, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Department of Homeland Security reports that a Chinese national with a commercial driver’s license, who allegedly entered the U.S. illegally, is accused of causing a deadly crash in Tennessee.

DHS reports that 54-year-old Huang Yisong rear-ended a tractor-trailer on Interstate 40, causing a multi-vehicle crash, which led to the death of 31-year-old Kerry Smith of Tennessee and injuring others.
