MURFREESBORO, TN – Rutherford County employees started their Friday with warm biscuits, hot coffee, and plenty of Christmas cheer at the annual Coffee and Biscuit with the Mayor gathering. The early‑morning tradition brought together staff from departments across the county for a few minutes of fellowship before the workday began.
Mayor Joe Carr made his way through the lobby, greeting employees, posing for photos, and sharing holiday well‑wishes. Many teams took the opportunity to snap their annual Christmas‑tree pictures in the decorated lobby.
“The County is blessed to have such devoted professionals in all of the departments,” Carr said. “It’s a time where we take a few minutes to catch up and share holiday greetings before starting our daily service to the community.”…
