As 2025 concludes, God’s Pit Crew continues its long-term recovery mission in East Tennessee following Hurricane Helene’s devastating impact in September 2024. Shortly before Christmas, God’s Pit Crew volunteers have provided two brand-new, fully furnished homes – one to Chrissy Miller in Hartford, Tennessee, and one to Amanda Forester in Newport, Tennessee.
For both homeowners, the moment marked a powerful turning point after months of loss and uncertainty.
