Second Harvest distributes holiday food boxes to families across region

KINGSPORT — Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee announced the distribution of Holiday Food Boxes to families across its eight-county service area, helping neighbors put nutritious meals on their tables during the holiday season.

The announcement was made during a media event at the organization’s Kingsport facility, recognizing donors and partner agencies whose support made the large-scale holiday distribution possible amid growing food insecurity throughout Northeast Tennessee.
