Tennessee DUI law: Police can use reasonable force for blood test, adds saliva testing

For the start of 2026, Tennessee law enforcement has more tools to crackdown on drunk and impaired driving.

This comes from a new state law which allows officers to use reasonable force to take blood samples from drivers suspected of driving under the influence and it includes a saliva test.
