Flu cases surge in Tennessee, Arkansas

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Doctors are urging everyone to get a flu shot after the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says flu activity is “very high” in Tennessee and Arkansas as cases are expected to increase further into January.

The Tennessee Health Department says flu cases are increasing rapidly, with the peak of flu season still weeks away.
