Data: Childcare costs take up nearly 20% of average TN family’s income

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The average Tennessee family with kids spends about 17% of their income on child care every year.

That’s according to a recent data analysis from WSMV4 Investigates. The analysis reviewed the state’s new State of the Child in Tennessee report and Census data.
