January 11, 2026 – Tips from the community led to this weekend’s arrest of Atirahs Hogan, 21, the suspected shooter in the January 4 early morning murder of food delivery driver David Valentine Jr., 33, as he and a female friend were traveling inbound on Murfreesboro Pike near a nightclub.
The investigation shows that Hogan and friends had been at the nightclub and were kicked out. She is alleged to have fired shots from a vehicle as they were leaving. Valentine was fatally hit by one of those rounds.
