LAFAYETTE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Middle Tennessee saw some dangerous wintry road conditions Thursday morning.
Law enforcement agencies in Macon and Putnam Counties are warning drivers of hazardous conditions.
Putnam County Sheriff’s Office:
- A freezing fog advisory in the county is “causing low visibility and the possibility for bridges and overpasses to become slick.”
Macon County Sheriff’s Office:
- Black ice was reported on Galen Road, particularly between Bradley Hollow Road and Inward.
- Oakdale Road was also shut down due to a crash near the 500 block.
