UPDATED: LA VERGNE, Tenn. — The La Vergne Police Department continues to investigate a weekend business burglary that marks the third ATM-related ram-and-grab theft reported in the region over the past 18 months.
According to investigators, the most recent incident occurred at Larros Market, located at the intersection of Old Nashville Highway and Jefferson Pike. A release from the La Vergne Police Department states that unknown suspects intentionally drove a pickup truck into the gas station in an apparent attempt to steal the ATM inside the store.
Police confirmed the suspects rammed the vehicle into the business, then chained the ATM to the truck and pulled the machine out of the store before fleeing the scene. Detectives are actively working the case, and no arrests have been made at this time…
