As Tennessee leads the nation in power outages, Maury County and Southern Middle Tennessee electric crews are working diligently to bring restoration to thousands of citizens in the dark as of Jan. 25 at 5 p.m.
Maury County remains the hardest hit, with an estimated 5,700 outages concentrated in the Mt. Pleasant, Williamsport, Sante Fe, Culleoka, and surrounding communities, according to a Duck River Electric Membership Corporation outage map at 5 p.m. Jan. 25.
That number is slightly down from the 6,500 people affected at 9 a.m. Jan 25 in the DREMC coverage area…
