SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSMV) – A house caught fire after a sparking power line fell on the ground on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office.
Crews were called to Seminary Road just before 1 p.m. A home had caught fire there after flames from the downed power line spread to a nearby home.
Deputies with RUCO and officers with the Smyrna Police Department shut down Seminary Road and West Sagefield Drive while firefighters battled the flames and MTE crews handled the power lines…
