TENNESSEE — Schools across Tennessee will remain closed Monday as dangerous travel conditions and lingering impacts from last week’s powerful winter storm continue to disrupt daily routines for students and families.
Several districts throughout the state announced Monday closures due to icy roads, power outages and safety concerns following a major storm that brought snow, ice and frigid temperatures to the Mid-South region.
In Middle Tennessee, multiple school systems — including Metro Nashville Public Schools, Sumner County Schools and others — will be closed Monday.
