NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A newly filed bill could make some tweaks to a recently-passed law that expanded required recess time for elementary students.
Last year, Tennessee lawmakers passed legislation to increase the state-required recess time for Kindergarteners through 5th grade students from an average of 15 minutes per day to 40 minutes per day, divided into two 20-minute breaks.
