Rutherford County Schools considers $4,000 sign-on bonuses to attract new teachers

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Rutherford County School Board will consider whether to move forward with a plan on Thursday night to attract teachers by offering sign-on bonuses next school year.

The $4,000 sign-on bonus would go to incoming Rutherford County Schools teachers teaching subject areas considered “hard to fill.”
