‘It could be anyone’: TBI offers advice to parents after Brentwood man indicted for child exploitation

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Brentwood man is facing dozens of felony charges in connection with an ongoing child exploitation investigation.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the case stems from an undercover operation targeting online crimes against children.

“A lot of our suspects will seek out children in chat rooms,” said TBI Special Agent Claire Haldewang. “A lot of times, they’re trying to befriend the child.”
