GREENE COUNTY, Tenn. (WJHL) — An ongoing multi-agency investigation led to the seizure of multiple pounds of methamphetamine and the arrest of a”large-scale distributor,” according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).
According to the TBI, its special agents joined Carter County and Johnson City detectives earlier this month after information was developed that Mark Holt, 55, was distributing “large quantities” of meth in Northeast Tennessee.
Agents executed a search warrant on Feb. 12 at a Piney Flat storage unit connected to Holt and found seven pounds of meth, a gun, and items consistent with the production of meth, according to the TBI.

The next day, TBI agents, working alongside the 3rd Judicial District Task Force, reportedly found the recreation vehicle where Holt was living in a campground on Pebble Mountain Road in Chuckey and executed a search warrant.
