Gov. Lee visits Dyer Co. to witness duck conservation efforts

DYER COUNTY, Tenn. (WMC) – The Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency and Tennessee Tech University have partnered to study different ducks in Tennessee.

Tennessee Governor Bill Lee was in Dyer County on Friday as teams with the agency and university placed colored bands on ducks.

The bands are used to track the birds to learn their habits and migration patterns. It’s all part of an effort to conserve duck species and their habitats and manage populations…
