MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – Update 2 p.m.: Rutherford County Schools announced that the emergency situation that has caused I-24 to close “will likely affect dismissal and traffic throughout the county.”
RCS said police activity in the are of Manchester Pike south of Murfreesboro doesn’t involve any schools but law enforcement has closed large portions of Manchester Pike and I-24.
