MANCHESTER, Tenn. (WSMV) – While his friends are playing video games and posting on social media, Tobey Chapman is taking orders.
The 13-year-old is the owner of Tobey’s Sandwich Shack in Manchester. The restaurant is built on family recipes and a savings account that started the day he was born.
From diapers to deeds
Tobey’s grandfather, Glenn Chapman, had been setting money aside every month since Tobey was born. When the time came, Glenn told him it was time to start investing and Tobey got to work.
