One detained after investigation into shots being fired in Murfreesboro led to school lockdowns, police say

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) – Update (12:40 p.m.): The Murfreesboro Police Department reports that officers responded to the area of Glaze Court and Tremont Drive to reports of shots being fired.

As a precaution, Discovery School and Bradley Academy were placed on a temporary lockout, meaning no one was allowed inside the buildings during that time.

As a result of the officers’ response, one person has been detained. The incident remains under investigation…
