One person dead following motorcycle crash in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — A 30-year-old motorcyclist died following a crash Friday night on Briley Parkway, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

Police said Nicholas Anderson, of Mt. Juliet, was traveling north on Briley Parkway in West Nashville around 11 p.m. when he lost control of his motorcycle while navigating a curve. Authorities reported that Anderson left the roadway and crashed into a ditch.

Anderson was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries…
