‘Operation TriStar Hammer.’ More than 60 arrests made in widespread drug investigation in Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – More than 60 arrests have been made during a widespread drug investigation called Operation TriStar Hammer in Tennessee, according to District Attorney General Jody Pickens and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

In late March, grand juries in Chester, Henderson and Madison counties returned 141 separate indictments against about 75 people. Days later, more than 130 law enforcement agents across multiple agencies served warrants across West Tennessee.

“To the law-abiding citizens, law enforcement recognizes the scourge that is drug dealing, particularly methamphetamine and fentanyl, and we are working in a collaborative fashion, across jurisdictional lines to combat it,” said District Attorney General Jody Pickens at a joint press conference…
