Rutherford County sees drop in single-family home permits, professor says affordability affecting market

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — As Rutherford County’s population continues to grow, the housing market for single-family homes has showed signs of cooling.

According to Rutherford County’s Building Codes Department, 69 permits were issued for single-family homes in March, which is only about 60% compared to the year before.
