MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — A nationally traveling exhibit aimed at highlighting America’s founding history and faith-based roots is set to make a stop in Rutherford County later this month. World Outreach Church will host “Defending the Truth,” presented by the American Journey Experience and WallBuilders, from April 24–26.
The event will feature a rare collection of historical artifacts, documents, and immersive exhibits designed to bring American history to life. Organizers say many of the items on display are typically housed in private collections and are seldom available for public viewing. Among the featured artifacts are personal belongings connected to George Washington, an early draft of the Declaration of Independence, and items tied to pivotal moments in U.S. history, including early colonial settlements like Jamestown and Plymouth.
In addition to the main exhibit, displays will be available throughout the month of April across the church campus, focusing on the role of faith in shaping the nation’s founding principles.
