One pill, deadly risk: Officials warn of new opioid 10 times stronger than fentanyl

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A new synthetic opioid is raising concerns among health officials and families across the Southeast.

The drug, called cychlorphine, is believed to be significantly more potent than fentanyl, a drug already driving overdose deaths nationwide.
