Palmetto State Armory larceny call leads to meth trafficking arrest

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A shoplifting call at a Myrtle Beach-area gun store Thursday ended with a meth trafficking arrest.

Deputies with the Horry County Sheriff’s Office responded to Palmetto State Armory on Frontage Road East after employees reported two suspects trying to steal a gun sight.

Investigators identified the suspects as Joseph Blaine Cook, 21, and a 17-year-old girl.
