The hot, humid weather will continue through the weekend, but we will have a better chance for late-day thunderstorms. Tonight will be partly cloudy, warm and muggy with temperatures staying in the 70s.
A weak cold front will move into the Carolinas and stall this weekend. This is not going to cool it down, but it will bring a chance for thunderstorms. Both days will be partly sunny, hot and humid with a chance for a thunderstorm late in the day. Highs this weekend will stay in the 90s.
The chance for thunderstorms will continue next week. Another cold front will move into the Carolinas Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing scattered thunderstorms. This front should cool us down a little, and highs will be in the 80s for the middle of the week…
