Grand Strand food providers say inflation is driving more families to pantries

WPDE — Food insecurity is rising above levels seen during the COVID-19 pandemic, and local food providers along the Grand Strand say they are seeing the impact firsthand.

A recent survey conducted by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York found the rate has increased among lower-income households.
