MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Another hot and humid day coming to and end across the region. Some areas were able to see some thunderstorms develop, where others did not. Highs today well into the 90s. Storms will end this evening, and we will see mostly clear to partly clear skies overnight. Tonight it will be hot and humid with lows falling into the mid to upper 70s. Heat index values in the low 80s.
Heat and humidity will continue through the week. Highs will be in the upper 80s to low 90s near the coast. Along and to the west of the Intracoastal Waterway back into the Pee Dee and border belt we will see temperatures in the low to mid 90s. Each day gives a chance of seeing some scattered thunderstorms. Some storms could be on the stronger side.
Overnight lows will be very muggy with lows in the 70s, with partly to mostly clear skies. Summer night are here…
