CONWAY, S.C. — Conway Riverfest celebrated America’s 250th anniversary Saturday, June 27 with a Revolutionary War living history experience, patriotic ceremonies and educational exhibits at the Town Green, 200 Laurel St.
The living history encampment, hosted by the Horry County Historical Society, gave visitors an opportunity to step back into the Revolutionary War era. Historical interpreters portrayed civilians and militia members while demonstrating daily life, trades and customs of the period.
