HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Cranking up the air conditioning during a heat wave can send electric bills climbing, but Horry Electric Cooperative shares how a few small adjustments can help you stay cool without significantly raising energy costs.
Horry Electric’s senior marketing and energy representative, Garrett Gasque, said they see bills skyrocket during heat waves, and many people do not realize how much energy air conditioning uses.
