There are several ways to celebrate the 4th of July along the Grand Strand.
The annual Salute from the Shore Flyover will take place Saturday starting at 1pm at Cherry Grove in North Myrtle Beach. It will travel along the coastline and is expected to pass through Myrtle Beach around 1:03.
In Myrtle Beach the 17th annual Independence Day 5K will be held in the Market Common area at 7am followed by the fun run and a kids dash.
