HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A person was killed Wednesday night after a hit-and-run along Highway 501 in Horry County, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at about 9:20 p.m. near Enoch Road, Lance Cpl. Brittany Glover said. Horry County Fire Rescue first responded to the scene.
An unknown vehicle was traveling on Highway 501 and a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling north on Highway 501 when it attempted to avoid colliding with the unknown vehicle, Glover said. The Tahoe then struck a ditch and overturned, while the unknown vehicle fled the scene…
