CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — Charges have been upgraded against a 17-year-old arrested after a hit-and-run involving two Coastal Carolina University students, one of whom later died.
Conway police said Mauricio Palafox-Correa, 17, was charged with hit-and-run resulting in death and DUI resulting in death. Palafox-Correa also faces two counts of DUI and two counts of hit-and-run resulting in great bodily injury.
