First Strides program helps North Strand women start walking, jogging or running

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Women on the North Strand who want to get more active will have a new chance to start this fall through First Strides, a program designed to help women of all ages take the first step toward a healthier lifestyle.

The fall session kicks off with an orientation tonight at 5:30 p.m. for people who are interested.

The program officially begins next Thursday, Sept. 3, at the North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex and will run weekly through November from 5:30 p.m. until 6:45 p.m…
