HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — A driver died after a three-vehicle crash Friday evening on Middle Ridge Avenue near West Perry Road, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 5:27 p.m. on Middle Ridge Avenue, the Highway Patrol said.
How the crash happened
A 2017 Nissan sedan and a 2007 Mazda SUV were traveling north on Middle Ridge Avenue when a 2014 Ford sedan traveling south crossed left of center, according to the Highway Patrol. The Ford sideswiped the Nissan and then struck the Mazda, the Highway Patrol said.
Injuries reported
The driver of the Nissan was not injured, the Highway Patrol said.
